At Our Children Oregon our role is to serve as a trusted conduit, ensuring that the generosity of our community passes directly to the organizations making a daily difference in the lives of children and families.
That’s why we are proud to announce that we’ve successfully distributed over $128,504.70 in funds to a network of dedicated Child Abuse Prevention and Child-focused organizations across the state.
Where did these funds come from?
This distribution was made possible by the generous participation of Oregonians in two key programs:
- The Oregon Charitable Fund Drive: Generous pledges from state employees and community members.
- The Oregon Tax Checkoff: The countless individuals who made a voluntary contribution by checking the “Child Abuse Prevention” box on their state tax returns.
As a federation and a trust, our mission is stewardship. We retain none of these designated funds. Our purpose is to efficiently and transparently gather this collective support and pass it through, in full, to the prevention and service programs that support Oregon’s children and youth. This ensures that every dollar goes directly to children.
By participating in the fund drive or checking a box on the tax refund, Oregonians became an active partner in building a safer, healthier state for our children.
We are honored by our responsibility in this work, and to connect Oregonians’ compassion to critical care and impact.
