Providing legislative testimony at public hearings, both oral and written, is a powerful way for individuals and organizations to advocate on behalf of policy and investments they care about. By offering elected officials perspective on how laws and policy (or the lack of these) are effecting the real lives of people and communities, testimony informs lawmakers and can influence whether policies are passed, revised, or defeated.
The agenda items below are linked to the written testimony Our Children Oregon submitted in support of legislation for the priorities and items of The 2022 Children’s Agenda. The bill numbers link to all public testimony posted on OLIS. This post will be updated throughout the session.
