The Board of Directors and team at Our Children Oregon (OCO) is proud to announce the appointment of Bridget Dazey as its new Executive Director. Bridget brings over 10 years of executive leadership, policy advocacy, and a profound commitment to equity and systems change to her role guiding Oregon’s statewide voice for children.
Bridget joins OCO after serving as Executive Director of the Clackamas Workforce Partnership, where she led a 23-member board, ensured the financial stability of a $4 million organization, and pioneered funding strategies to expand community impact. Bridget’s career is defined by a drive to strengthen the systems that support children and families, from advocating for child care access and disability rights to building prevention-oriented programs in collaboration with schools and social services.

In practice and experience, I have seen firsthand how systemic inequities impact our communities. Bridget is already a familiar collaborator within OCO’s network, having partnered with the organization through its coalition work. Her hands-on experience shaping policy alongside legislators and diverse coalitions makes her uniquely prepared to lead OCO’s strategic direction and advance The Children’s Agenda.
The board also extends its sincere thanks to Shānna Pittman-Frank for her exceptional leadership as Interim Executive Director during this transitional period and long-standing leadership within OCO. Her dedication and expertise provided essential stability and care for the organization.
